Hi, Hipcamp!
I’m Sarah, a photographer based in Washington state. I’ve been wanting to apply to this for years, but I’ve moved around a lot. Now that I’m in one spot, I’d love to help capture the amazing Hipcamps Washington has to offer!
I didn’t start camping frequently until 5-6 years ago. I’ve grown to love spending time outdoors, and after moving to WA, I have so many adventures planned. I’ve only done a couple of Hipcamp stays so far, but I always check to see what’s offered (they’re always amazing, but frequently already booked!)
I’ve put together two sets of photos from trips in the past few years. Some were taken from a Hipcamp, some from a different trip, both in southeast MO. I like to capture details while making sure to capture the basics and entire vibe of the location.
These were taken on a Nikon DSLR with various lenses.

I tried to capture the essence of the stay - what did it feel like to stay there? What activities can you get up to? Any interesting features?

It was a simple campsite but an amazing stay. I tried to capture these more documentary style - what does it look like when walking around the campground? What amenities are offered?
